About David Green
Hi, I’m David. Thanks for being here. I’m a retired entrepreneur, endurance athlete, and writer. My passion for ultra events has led to completing several solo runs across the United States, Brazil, and Spain—and most recently setting a Fastest Known Time for crossing Europe on foot. My love of movement, adventure, and the open road is matched only by my bond with dogs. In 2022, my wife, Mônica, and I founded Friends of Lucky Caminho, a nonprofit that helps stray dogs along Brazil’s Caminho da Fé trail, where I first met Lucky, the subject of my book. Today, I split my time between Florida and Portugal with Mônica and our three rescue dogs. The book proceeds have supported our charity. News & Features
