We hit Colorado State University Veterinary Hospital at 7am this morning hoping to get it and out but they found a few complicating issues to deal with prior to a consult with oncology - infection indicated by high white blood cell counts and fluid in his system. When I told them he had just run 15 miles in the morning and done so for the past 2 months they were shocked! I hope to get more news tomorrow on these two issues and viable protocols to battle the lymphoma. All for now as I am solely focused on this one issue.

Cheers,

David.

P.S. Just received call from Dr. Verie at Urgent Care and the tests show that the fluid in his abdomen is from the cancer in his liver that limits circulation and causes the buildup of fluid. Kind of good news as the Prednisone he is taking is making him feel better. Oncology consult tomorrow morning on options moving forward and hopefully we bust him out of the hospital to resume where we left off.
